Types of Analyses and Test Modalities
In order to facilitate compliance with the norm on prevention and control of legionellosis, Sistemas Genómicos puts the following
range of services
at your disposal:
- Legionella pneumophila plate count analysis:
This service detects the presence of Legionella pneumophila
bacteria in water, as established by Royal Decree 865/2003. Our delivery time is 10 days from the reception of samples at our facilities.
- Rapid detection of Legionella pneumophila by PCR:
This service allows detecting the presence of Legionella pneumophila, using techniques based on PCR analysis, in just 48 hours. Our test, accredited by ENAC, allows you to carry out the necessary cleaning and disinfection measures in your facilities without having to wait for test results using culture techniques.
- Legionella spp.plate count analysis in water samples:
This service detects the presence of bacteria from the Legionella genus in water samples, as established by Royal Decree 865/2003. Our delivery time is 10 days from the reception of samples at our facilities.
- Rapid detection of Legionella spp by PCR:
This service allows detecting the presence of the Legionella genus, using techniques based on PCR analysis, in just 48 hours. Our test, accredited by ENAC, allows you to carry out the necessary cleaning and disinfection measures in your facilities without having to wait for test results using culture techniques.
- Total Aerobic Colony Count:
This service, performed according to the ISO 6222, 1999 standard, detects the presence of culture microorganisms via plate count analysis. Our delivery time is 6 days from the reception of samples at our facilities.
- Serogroup analysis:
In case of detecting Legionella pneumophila in a sample, we can determine which serogroup the detected colony belongs to in less than 48 hours.
- Determination of physicochemical parameters:
This service determines the water quality parameters established by Royal Decree 865/2003. Our delivery time is 3 working days from the reception of samples at our facilities.
