Sistemas Genómicos offers a service for the rapid detection of food pathogens, based on DNA analysis techniques. In very few hours we can determine the presence or absence of pathogen species in any type of food matrix. The following table shows the available tests:

Available bacteria species or genus
Detection of Listeria monocytogenes, via real-time PCR
Detection of Salmonella spp., via real-time PCR


Moreover, in case of a positive result by PCR, we offer confirmation studies by means of assessing the viability of the bacteria in culture.
The mission of our lab is to continuously broad this list. If the bacterial study you required is not yet included in the list, please do not hesitate to ask us regarding its availability.
