The Medical Genetics Unit provides special attention to the study of Rare Diseases which, due to their low prevalence and the technical complexity of their genetic diagnosis, become "orphan" for Health Systems.
Our main objective is to reach a Genetic Diagnosis on the basis of the clinical utility for any rare disease with a known genetic origin, with short turnaround times and clinical interpretations according to each clinical case.
Access to the diagnosis services
Sistemas Genómicos collaborates with Hospitals, Health Councils, public and private health organizations, and patient associations throughout Spain, making our services available for all affected individuals, without any type of social or economic discrimination.
